Join us for a welcoming and thought‑provoking discussion about what true inclusion means, what genuine support feels like, and how we can all help create a more understanding and compassionate world for autistic people. Our conversation will be inspired by the book Untypical: How The World Isn’t Built For Autistic People And What We Should All Do About It by Pete Wharmby. This is a warm, supportive space for parents to share experiences, exchange ideas, and reflect together. You’ll connect with others navigating similar journeys and leave with fresh insights, empathy, and practical ideas. There’s no expectation for you to read the book beforehand — this session is designed to inspire and spark reflection, not to feel like homework. What to Expect: This is a warm and welcoming space to share your thoughts, exchange ideas, and reflect on strategies to better understand and support your child. Hear from other parents navigating similar challenges and leave with new perspectives and tools for your journey. - Connect with like-minded parents: This is your space to connect with other parents and discuss the things you've discovered and find inspiration to explore even more.
- Fantastic Chats: Join conversations about books, films and the unique adventure of being parents. It's great if you've read the book or seen the film/article we're discussing and want to share your thoughts. It's also fine if you haven't yet but would like to listen in on the discussion.
