Potential Plus UK is a membership charity with over 50 years of unique experience, expertise and understanding of high learning potential. We offer support and practical strategies to parents, carers and teachers of children with high learning potential.

Family Plus Member

Benefits of membership

• Unlimited pre-booked telephone advisory calls

• Voting rights
• Discounts on our High Learning Potential Assessment service
• Eligibility to apply to our Scholarship Fund for financial assistance to take up assessments and attend many of our national events

 Cost: Family Plus Membership costs £125 for the first year. The renewal fee on the second and subsequent years, is £60.

Family Essentials Member

Benefits of membership:

• Unlimited pre-booked telephone advisory calls
• Members’ online community including specialist groups, forum and e-resources
• Focus on Potential monthly mailings with information and support
• Member-only events and member discounts for events (as appropriate)
• Voting rights

Cost: The cost for one year is £60 and as families renew after the first year it upgrades automatically to a Family Plus membership with additional benefits.

Associate Family Member by School

Schools and academies join Potential Plus UK to provide support for the families of their high potential learners. If your school has joined us, then they should have passed on to you their member access code. You can only join Potential Plus UK free of charge if you have this code.

• Focus on Potential monthly mailings with information and support
• Member-only events and member discounts for events (as appropriate)

Associate Family Member by Organisation

Organisations (such as British Mensa) join Potential Plus UK to provide support for the families of their high potential learners. If an organisation your child belongs to has joined us, then they should have passed on to you their member access code. You can only join Potential Plus UK free of charge if you have this code.

School Members

School membership is a package of support designed specifically for senior leadership, teaching staff and governors to:

• Support you in the education and well-being of your high potential learners (often termed ‘more able’ or ‘gifted and talented’)
• Support you in your relationship with the parents and carers of these learners
• Support the whole school in the development and embedding of its policy and provision

We have three types of school member, depending on your school phase:

• School - Nursery
• School - Primary / Pre-prep
• School - Secondary / Prep / Senior
